Visionary leader, founder, entrepreneur and champion of women creators. Julie’s new venture, Catalyst, leverages her unique set of business and strategic skills and her strong international network to get great content made. 

In 2013, Bristow launched Bristow Global Media Inc, where she created, packaged, and produced content for the global marketplace. As founder, lead content and strategy executive, Bristow started, grew and sold her company successfully. Prior to founding BGM Inc. Julie was the Executive Director of Studio & Unscripted Content at CBC Television where she helped to create and monetize many of CBC’s most successful programs, including Dragons’ Den. Her international credits as a global executive producer include premium documentary series including: 100 Days to Victory (Foxtel, BBC Scotland, History) and 9/11: Control The Skies (National Geographic International and Bell Media) and Canada: The Story of Us (CBC)

vibika bianchi

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Vibika has been creating and curating popular content for global audiences for over 3 decades. From her tenure as VP, Original Programming at Corus Entertainment and then as Executive Producer and SVP, Content at eOne and Our House Media she’s skilled at both the buying and selling sides of the business. Her creative direction has generated several successful series for platforms like Discovery Channel, HGTV, Food Network, OWN, W Network and CBC.

Acclaimed for her broad genre expertise, she’s pioneered lifestyle powerhouses like Property Brothers and Love It or List It; elevated original concepts like My Paranormal Nightmare, Chuck & Danny’s Road Trip and Hockey Wives; and guided format adaptations such as Building off the Grid, Come Dine with Me, Back in Time for Dinner and Undercover Boss into hits. Always breaking new ground, she’s currently EP-ing Carolyn Taylor’s I Have Nothing, a one-of-a-kind factual comedy for Crave.

mithila majithia

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

With a keen interest in writing and visual storytelling, as well as a foundation in Business Affairs and Production, Mithila brings a range of skills to the Catalyst team. Hailing from India and Hong Kong, Mithila began her career in television as the Production Coordinator on Food Network’s Neighbourhood Eats.

Prior to joining Catalyst, Mithila was the long-standing Business Affairs Coordinator for Toronto-based production company Alibi Entertainment and worked on titles such as Carnival Eats, Sarah off the Grid, Titanic: The New Evidence, Northern Gold, and Accidental Wilderness: The Leslie Street Spit. Mithila is currently an Associate Producer on Paid In Full: The Battle for Payback - a music doc series Executive Produced by Idris Elba. In her free time, Mithila can be found writing, producing short films, and working on her photography portfolio.
